FALL VIBES: Decorating our Apartment for fall

Hi friends :)

It ‘s November 1 which is so crazy. Since my roommates want to start decorating for Christmas, this is my last chance to enjoy all our fall decor. Fall is my favorite season so I started decorating as soon as possible. As September rolled around, I started shopping and seriously I wanted to buy every fall thing ever. I’m obsessed with fall and after reflecting, I realized why I love fall so much. First, of all, fall makes me think of home and all of my fondest memories of waking up and going downstairs to a pumpkin candle burning. I also remember one October weekend that was filled with candle shopping, the fall festival at my middle school, and sleeping in the basement snuggling up with a blanket.

Also, my mom loves fall so I grew up loving pumpkins and loving to watch the leaves change because my mom would always talk about how much she loves fall. As I talked to my mom we discussed how warm fall really is and how my mom decorates will all fall colors. So, fall feels like home to me. And in TX where it can still get to 90 degrees, I have to get myself in the fall mood somehow.

If I had it my way, my whole apartment would looked like this Kirklands pic :) however, my roommates do not like pumpkins and or signs with cheesy words on them.

Even though I couldn’t decorate to the full extent I wanted to, I still included fall colors where I could.

This included multiple stops at Kirklands, Target, Hobby Lobby and Joann’s Fabric Store (surprising which has home decor)
